Design and construction of Kalavrita railway station and workshop. The station has more than 100 years of history and the railway network is toothed on steep gradients and covers a unique journey of 22 klm. In order to design the model, we have measured the actual buildings and produced detailed plans that we then converted into 3d CAD. The model construction and assembly is quite complex as it is a combination of different materials and production techniques such as photo-etched metals, CNC-Laser cut plexiglass, 3D printed resin and PLA elements, etc. The models have interior and exterior hand-made led lighting and are hand-painted.
